Teaching is about developing your own thinking. Student brains have to be opened enough to solve problems. What are we doing to teach kids to think?
3 Parts to independent thinking: Technology, Education, Neuroscience.
Some neuroscience facts…It takes 20-30 years for the brain to mature. You can’t be older than your brain. There is a 2-3 year old spread in the brain of children.
There is a difference between thinking and knowing.

Open Education Resources (OERs)! According to Wikipedia, OERs are “educational materials and resources offered freely and openly for anyone to use and under some licenses to re-mix, improve and redistribute.” Imagine a world where students, teachers and anyone that wanted to learn and exchange ideas could do so freely and easily!
