Post TedxDubai Conference Reactions
At the end of the TEDxDubai Conference the bloggers interviewed participants to get their reaction from today’s event.
Marilyn Roberts, from the USA, is the Dean of Communication/Media Sciences at Zayed University. She said her most memorable idea was to find what you are passionate in and to go do it. In one word she described her experience today as “inspired.”
Jassim Ali, from India, works at PHD iQ. His most memorable idea came from Dr. Naif Al Mutawa of THE 99. In one word he described his experience today as “mind blowing.”
Olesya Sydorenko, from Ukraine, works at TECOM Investments. Speakers Ian Gilbert and Thomas Lundgren were the most memorable. Her one word to describe today’s conference was “inspirational.”
Asna Moazzam, from India, works with TEC. She said the passion of Masarat Daud was the most memorable for her and is making a huge difference to a lot of people and changing lives. In one word she said her experience today was “awesome.”
Ben Daniels, from Australia, works with Cisco Systems. He said the most memorable part of the TedxDubai Conference was if you are doing something don’t do something practical but be passionate. His one word to describe today’s experience was “pumped.”
So what is my idea worth spreading? After today’s TEDxDubai experience my idea is in progress. I plan on reflecting on this experience, thinking deeper about my work in the USA and overseas in education, and revisiting my dreams and passions in order to create my idea worth spreading.
